The Albert Lea Area Civil War/US-Dakota War Roundtable will hold its monthly meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in the library of Southwest Middle School. Local attorney Ellen Weinberg will present “The Dred Scott Decision.”

The Roundtable meets on the first Thursday of each month from September through June. The meeting is open to anyone with an interest in the Civil War and US-Dakota war history. There’s no charge to attend. For more information, call Jim Munyer at 507-213-6152.
