Flight rally will be at Albert Lea airport

Area people ages 8 to 17 will have a chance to take to the skies Saturday when Experimental Aircraft Association Vintage chapter No. 13 hosts a Young Eagles flight rally, according to a press release.
The rally is part of the EAA Young Eagles program, created to interest young people in aviation. Since the program started in 1992, volunteer pilots have flown more than 1.8 million young people who reside in more than 90 countries.
Those attending the flight rally Saturday are asked to come to the airport office starting at 7:30 a.m. to register for their flight. Flights will begin at 8 a.m. with registration ending at 11 a.m.
