GENEVA — The Minnesota-based charities, Be the Change and Massive Amounts of Good, are partnering with the organizers of inaugural Revival Music Festival at Harmony Park this weekend. The festival features primarily country bluegrass music and world music.

Be The Change has raised and donated more than $350,000 through their partnership with Harmony Park Music Garden and events they have hosted at the park over the past seven years.

The charity aspect is focused on making an impact on hunger in Freeborn County. Organizers recently met with the administrators at the Albert Lea Salvation Army and had the chance to volunteer on the hot food line being operated by the Salvation Army, according to a press release.

The food drive is being coordinated by Massive Amounts of Good. All of the food donations will be delivered to those in need that are being served by the Salvation Army in Albert Lea. Be The Change has pledged to match any monetary donations made at the festival up to $1,500. Massive Amounts of Good will host a booth where attendees can donate money and receive a vintage concert poster donated by the Minnesota based production company, MJG Productions. Additionally, a portion of the proceeds raised at the event will benefit the Minneapolis-based hunger program, Open Arms of Minnesota.
