Republicans take shotgun approach

What can we do about a do-nothing Republican Congress. I say put them in the unemployment line. We can do this next fall. How can they give themselves a big raise and they haven’t done anything in the last six years? If you think shutting this country down for 16 days is doing something then there is no help for you. They were sent to Washington to do what we elected them for. They don’t seem to care after they get there what our wishes are. When 91 percent of the country wants background checks on firearms sales and they vote it down they are not doing our wishes. When 75 percent of the country wants universal health care, they fought against this.
Now 70 percent of the country wants to raise the minimum wage, and they are arguing against this. Isn’t it something how they give themselves raises without any argument and then have no compassion for the lowest paid workers in this country. Today (May 19) I heard Neil Cavuto say on his show on Fox News that if we raise the minimum wage that hamburgers will go up 10 cents each. Then he asked are we ready for that. Why didn’t he mention when a fast food worker gets his paycheck now he gets a pamphlet with it on how to file for welfare? We are already paying that 10 cents in taxes. It would make the workers feel better about themselves if they were just taking home a paycheck with out a pamphlet in it. The Republicans have almost given up arguing against Obamacare. It looks like it is here to stay. The unemployment has dropped every month for the last 50 months. They ran out of things to find fault with President Barack Obama.
So now they are doing their best to witch hunt Benghazi. Every Democrat that had anything to do with it is being scrutinized. This is going to be another waste of tax dollars. Why don’t they investigate where President George W. Bush and Vice President Dick Chaney got their inside information that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction? This would not be a waste of taxpayer dollars. The longest war this country was ever in, the loss of over 4,000 lives and over 20,000 maimed for life. And now those who were injured are having trouble getting into Veterans Affairs hospitals because there are so many. You can’t blame this on Obama but the Republicans are sure trying.
I know you with common sense will agree with everything I said. You who voted for George W. Bush the second time he ran and still believe you did the right thing obviously are lacking in common sense, but I am not going to give up on you. I am still going to continue to try and educate you. Thanks for taking the time to read my letter.
