Recently, the Tribune published (and the same was carried in the Mason City Globe Gazette) about a self-described “psychic medium” in Albert Lea.

The individual goes on to describe herself as also being a Christian who is “more spiritual” and doesn’t go to church.

The Bible clearly warns us that this is wrong! For example, Isaiah 8:20 says, “Listen to what the Lord is teaching you! Don’t listen to mediums — what they tell you will do you no good.” (Today’s English Version Bible)

We would all do well to heed God’s instructions and always seek answers to our questions from his word and to reject evil foolishness like fortune telling.
