Debra Ann Ferrie, 59, died Saturday, June 7, 2014, at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester.

Debra Ann Donovan was born March 16, 1955, to Howard and Bernice (King) Donovan in Austin. She graduated from Hayfield High School in 1973. Debra worked for Farmstead Foods in Albert Lea and Hormel Foods in Austin. She had currently worked for Mayo Clinic Health System for 13 years.

Debra married Kevin Ferrie on July 4, 2009, on Lake Pepin. Debra enjoyed the outdoors, water, dancing, roller skating and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and entertaining her family and friends.

Debra is survived by her husband, Kevin Ferrie, of Byron; her two daughters, Candi (Alex) Brown, of Escondido, Calif., and Tanya (Chris) Carr, of Eden Prairie; seven grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard (Karen) Donovan, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Kenneth (Lorrie) Donovan, of Rochester.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; a brother, Dean, and a granddaughter, Nadja.

A celebration of life will be from 10 a.m. to noon Friday at Ranfranz & Vine Funeral Home in Rochester. A private family burial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested.
