Josephine Boerner, 1976-2014

A celebration of life for Josephine “JoJo” Boerner of Albert Lea will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at 304 E. 11th St. in Albert Lea.
Josephine died Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at St Marys Hospital in Rochester following a lengthy illness. She was 38.
JoJo was born Feb. 19, 1976, in Freeborn County, the daughter of Ronald and Genevieve (Stam) Laite. She graduated from public school in Freeborn County. JoJo was united in marriage to Anthony Boerner and together they made their home in Albert Lea.
She had been employed as a nursing assistant at Thorne Crest Retirement Center and most recently at Brown Printing in Waseca. In her free time she enjoyed fishing and camping, art and drawing and singing karaoke.
JoJo is survived by her husband, Anthony, of Albert Lea; father, Ronald, and wife Becky Klein of Albert Lea; children Eric, Faith and Nathanial Newton; mother-in-law, Marlene Boerner; sister, Christine Laite; brothers Ronald (Tammy) Laite and Dean Laite; sister-in-law, Angie Sanchez; nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother; grandparents; nephew, Trever Benner, and father-in-law, Edwin Boerner.
