A new set of wheels

Hope Nielsen, age 8, pictured above with the Rev. Clayton Balsley, was the winner of the bike drawing held at the Calvary Baptist/First Baptist Church booth at the Freeborn County Fair. The bike drawing, sponsored by the Awana program, has been held each year at the church fair booth. Awana is a Bible-based, nondenominational kids program that is held at Calvary Baptist Church, 2016 Bridge Ave. in Albert Lea from 6:30 to 8 p.m. each Wednesday. To register children for the program a BBQ registration kickoff for the 2014-2015 season will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday for kids and their families. – Provided
