LaVina Fellner, 1923-2014

LaVina Alberta Hensche Fellner, 90, of Little Canada, formerly of Albert Lea, passed into the arms of the Lord Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014.
She was born Nov. 18, 1923, the daughter of William and Marie Hensche.

A beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, LaVina is survived by children Donna (Barry) Hewett and David (Dedra); grandchildren Dena (Tim) Suggs, Liz (Erik) Visnyak and Brian Fellner; great-grandchildren Jacob Suggs and Nora Visnyak; and siblings Marjorie Remkus and Melvin (Priscilla) Hensche.
Visitation is from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday at The Mayfield’s first floor community room, 2850 Market Place Drive in Little Canada. Memorial services are at 11 a.m. with a visitation beginning at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First Lutheran Church, 301 West Clark St. in Albert Lea, where she was a lifelong member and served on the Caring Sharing Outreach.
LaVina’s interests included travel and gardening, and she was a member of the Eagles. Memorials are preferred to Presbyterian Homes & Services. Interment will be at Graceland Cemetery in Albert Lea.
