Motorcycle rider dies in crash on Hwy. 30

NEW RICHLAND — One person died Sunday night after a motorcycle crash east of New Richland.
The name of the person has not yet been released.
The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the crash, at the intersection of Minnesota Highway 30 and Waseca County Road 63.
The initial report states a 2008 Harley-Davidson Roadster was eastbound on Highway 30 shortly after 9 p.m. when it left the roadway on the westbound side of the highway.
The road was dry at the time of the crash.
The State Patrol was assisted at the scene by the New Richland Police Department, the Waseca County Sheriff’s Office and New Richland Fire and Rescue. The State Patrol website indicates more information should be released at 3 p.m. today.
