FARGO, N.D. — New North Dakota State University women’s basketball head coach Maren Walseth has filled out her staff with the addition of a director of operations for the program.
Arianne Johnson will fill the role. She most recently served as head varsity girls’ basketball coach at Hope Academy in Minneapolis. Before that she coached at high schools in Minnesota. She also spent the past two summers as head coach of an AAU team in Minnesota.
Johnson is a Minneapolis native. She played two seasons at Concordia St. Paul, from 2009-11.
NDSU earlier this year named Walseth to replace Carolyn DeHoff, who resigned after six seasons. Walseth is a former pro player and Penn State assistant.
