There were no injuries in a crash on Lakeview Boulevard in Albert Lea Saturday, but the driver was given a citation.

At about 9:30 a.m. Saturday, a 16-year-old male driver rounded a curve at the intersection of Lakeview Boulevard and Sunset Street and lost control of the vehicle.

There was one passenger in the vehicle with the driver. Gold Cross ambulance was at the scene but reported no injuries for both the passenger and driver.

The driver was given a citation for failure to drive with due care, according to a State Trooper at the scene.

The driver was driving a 1999 Volkswagen Jetta, which sustained some broken windows from the crash.
