The American Association of University Women will meet at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 6 at America’s Best Value Inn for the monthly meeting.

The meal consists of pasta Americana with chicken breast, French bread and butter and coffee, and the price will be $14. The program for that night will be “Education with Dignity” given by Ruth Ann De Haan.

De Haan moved to her husband’s childhood home on Lake Geneva from Nairobi, Kenya, in June of 2010. She is a self-employed farmer alongside her husband, a substitute teacher in District 241, tutor, volleyball coach, room parent, distributor for Dignity Designs Jewelry, Gem girl’s club counselor and Sunday school teacher.
