Youth baseball players from Albert Lea competed in a Wood Bat League in Owatonna on Sunday afternoons, and the last game was Sept. 14. The league consisted of five teams from around the area: Albert Lea, St. Clair, Kenyon-Wannamingo, Southland, and Owatonna. The players are a mix of ninth- and 10th-graders who played together for many years as part of the Knights Baseball Organization and during high school baseball this past spring. The Tigers had a very productive fall season going a perfect 8-0. All eleven players had an opportunity to pitch and play multiple positions. — Provided
