4 reasons to vote for Rep. Savick

Here are four good reasons to vote for state Rep. Shannon Savick.
1. Shannon stands by her record. She is pro-education. She is part of the education team that funded all-day kindergarten, paid back the money that Republicans borrowed from the schools, increased funding for early childhood education and made college more affordable.
2. Shannon is pro-seniors. She is a senior citizen herself and knows firsthand the problems facing seniors on issues such as long-term care and the problems that occur when a spouse enters a nursing home. We need to return her to St. Paul to protect the economic well-being of our seniors. She works for us.
3. Shannon is dedicated. Shannon has committed herself to the citizens of her district. Even at a time of great sadness when her husband passed away during the last legislative season, Shannon finished the session and continued to work hard for all of us. I admire and appreciate such dedication.
4. It is the fair and right thing to do. When I look at all of her accomplishments, I wonder how anyone would not vote for her. The way I see it is this: Let’s say you are hired to do a job. You work hard, make tough choices and get much more done than anyone expected. And then the boss, (that’s us, the voters), says, “Thanks a lot, but we’re going to have to let you go. You did a great job, but we’re replacing you with someone who has never done this job, and who has no experience in this area.”
We can’t do that.
Re-elect Rep. Shannon Savick. It’s the fair and the right thing to do. Please vote for her Nov. 4.
