Steve Sundve was diagnosed with stage 4 bladder cancer in July of 2013. He had minor surgery to remove the tumors one month later. He was given an all clear until March of 2014 when he started bleeding. He then found out the cancer was back.

On May 2 his bladder was removed and a reconstructive procedure was completed. In June he started chemotherapy and he is still receiving treatments.

There will be a benefit to help cover his medical expenses Saturday at Moose Lodge in Albert Lea. There will be a bake sale and silent auction from noon to 7 p.m.. Dinner will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
