I am curious about what the duties are for a sheriff. I do know that they are responsible for the budget but am not understanding what the other duties they are responsible for. A year ago I had some questions about the law and decided to ask Mr. Bob Kindler. I made several calls to his office and was promised a call back but nothing happened. I was told each time he wasn’t in his office.

Recently I heard that the sheriff doesn’t have to stay in his office. Is that true? I would like to see a sheriff who would be interested enough in my problems to return my call.
