Police bust underage drinking party

Albert Lea police cited Dalton David Hensche, 19, Casey Duaine King, 19, Samantha Jo Kalis, 19, and Karrin Diane Olson, 19, for underage drinking after receiving an anonymous complaint at 11:14 pm. Friday of noise and possible drinking at 1312 Frank Hall Drive. Reed Anton Willett, 18, was cited for a social host ordinance violation.

 

Man arrested after chase

Albert Lea police arrested Weston William Zuehl, 31, for multiple violations after he reportedly led police on a chase through Albert Lea Sunday morning.

The report stated Zuehl was arrested for driving with a canceled driver’s license, careless driving, fleeing police in a motor vehicle, a stop sign violation, a seat belt violation and a railroad stop sign violation.

The incident reportedly began near Albert Lea High School when an officer observed Zuehl without a seat belt.

Zuehl allegedly drove with accelerated speeds on Clark Street, ran through a stop sign and almost collided with a police officer’s vehicle.

 

Shed, garage broken into

The Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office received a report at 10:26 a.m. Friday of an attempted break-in of a utility shed and double garage at 10:26 a.m. Friday at 75589 250th St., Clarks Grove. The incident took place the night prior.

 

Hit-and-run crash reported

Albert Lea police received a report of a hit-and-run crash at 11:23 a.m. Saturday at 2308 Hendrickson Road. A woman in a blue jeep reportedly ran into a maroon Buick and left headed toward Walmart.

 

1 cited for criminal damage

Police cited at least one juvenile for criminal damage to property after receiving a report at 1:42 p.m. Saturday of three juveniles on top of the warming house at Morin Park who were allegedly throwing things off of it.

 

Cellphone stolen

A cellphone was reported stolen at 4:52 p.m. Friday from 1308 Margaretha Ave.

 

1 cited for paraphernalia

Police cited one teenage girl for possession of drug paraphernalia at 9:28 p.m. Sunday at 2530 Bridge Ave.

 

Juvenile arrested

Deputies arrested a juvenile male after receiving a report of 15 shots fired at 11:57 p.m. Saturday at 203 S. Central Ave., Hollandale. No other information was available as of press time.
