Minimum wage cuts hurt jobs

What are the bad side effects from higher minimum wages? Employers will need to either cut hours, increase prices, so we pay for it, find technology to replace employees, (self-checkout areas) or reduce hiring. Retirement homes have a set income from residents and the state government. You didn’t see the state pay more when they increased the minimum wages. The retirement homes have few choices: increase fees to residents, reduce staff which reduces care, not hire needed help or beg the state for more money. Why is it that Rep. Shannon Savick thinks there are never any consequences to her actions?
