Savick is under spell of metro DFL

You live in rural, small town Minnesota. In 2012 Shannon Savick was elected to the state Legislature with the belief that she would to represent you.
Rep. Savick quickly got sucked into the big-city liberal caucus, becoming a staunch supporter of Gov. Mark Dayton and his tax-and-spend buddies and voting in lockstep with big-city liberals.
In the process she totally ignored the base that elected her.
She supported the building of a new office building for legislators at a cost of $90 million. Less than one half of the legislators will have an office in this white elephant at a cost of $1.3 million per office.
Voted to increase the Legislature’s budget 9 percent.
Voted to add a tax to your health care premiums.
Voted with liberals to give themselves a 35 percent pay increase. When was the last time you got a 35 percent pay increase?
Voted to tax Internet purchases.
Voted to increase your income taxes.
Support the funding of metro transit instead of allocating funds to repair rural Minnesota’s highways and bridges.
Voted to fund Minneapolis and St. Paul school districts at the expense of rural schools.
Voted to allow counties to impose a $10 fee on each vehicle you license.
This is just a portion of Rep. Savick’s voting record. Don’t believe me, check it out yourself. Rural Minnesota cannot afford more taxes and more rules and regulations.
If you live in rural or small-town Minnesota you cannot afford to give Rep. Savick another term.
Rep. Savick gets most of her funding from groups outside Minnesota, groups like the super-liberal women’s rights groups and the anti-gun groups.
We gave Shannon a chance; she blew it.
Vote for Peggy Bennett and elect a representative who will work for the people of her district.
