Memorial services for Timothy Aaron Groff of Albert Lea will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Lutheran Church Chapel in Albert Lea. The Rev. John Holt will officiate. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Timothy died Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2014, at Mayo Health System of Albert Lea following lingering health problems.

Timothy was born April 30, 1960, the son of Edward and Doris (Heckes) Groff. He attended public school in Clarks Grove and graduated from Albert Lea High School. He had been employed for over 30 years at Cargill in Albert Lea.

Timothy is survived by his mother, Doris J. Groff, of Albert Lea; sisters Susan Morris, and her husband, Don, of Albert Lea; niece, Lisa (Jim) Bennette, of Spokane, Wash., and their daughter Ashley Johnsrud, Amy (Andrew) Nenninger of Richmond, Va., and their daughter, Lily Nenninger; sister-in-law, Laurie Groff, of Albert Lea; aunt, Shirley Groff, of Austin; and nephews Ben Groff of Albert Lea and Andy (Amy) Groff of Bloomington. There are also many cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward; brother, Dean; grandparents and cousins.
