Bennett would serve Albert Lea well

Over the past year, I’ve gotten to know Peggy Bennett very well campaigning for her.

Peggy is a school teacher of 33 years at Sibley Elementary School, where she taught first grade. Over 750 students have passed through her class and those kids are the reason she’s running for the Minnesota House District 27A seat!

Six reasons to vote for Peggy Bennett:

1. Peggy values education. She understands that we know our kids best and that’s why she wants to bring back local control to our schools, instead of giving the state more power in legislation like the bullying bill. Peggy also sees that the relationship between the parents, students, and teachers is key to improving student success. Getting the family involved in education is important to her.

2. Peggy understands business and economics of our state. She sees the need to make our area more competitive with Iowa and other border states because we’re losing business across state lines. She wants better-paying jobs in the area, so people can live off of more than minimum wage. She sees that the state is over-spending, for example: a $77 million Senate building and $3.5 million on a snow machine for Duluth. Peggy would better spend that money on infrastructure and education.

3. Peggy knows how important agriculture is to our area! She’ll fight against over-regulation of our farmers! She supports freedom at the pump for ethanol. She’ll work to find a common sense formula for agricultural property taxes.

4. Peggy is endorsed by many groups! She’s endorsed by the Minnesota Gun Owners PAC and the National Rifle Association because she’ll protect our Second Amendment rights! She’s endorsed by the Minnesota Citizens Concerned For Life because Peggy is pro-life! She’s endorsed by the Long-Term Care Providers because she’ll work to get our seniors quality care! She’s endorsed by the Minnesota Farm Bureau because she supports our farmers! She’s endorsed by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce and the National Federation of Independent businesses because she’ll help our economy and businesses! Peggy is also endorsed by the Voices of Conservative Women.

5. Peggy has bipartisan support! She not only has Republican support but has gained support from Independents and many Democrats! I’ve personally been amazed by the number of different people that support her! I met a Democrat who works at a gas station. She told me that Peggy had taught her granddaughter and she believes that Peggy is a great person and will make a great representative.
