Charlotte J. Kurgan, 87, of Wells, died Wednesday, Nov. 12, 2014, at Parkview Care Center in Wells. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells.  Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Charlotte Joy was born Dec. 5, 1926, in Albert Lea, the daughter of Roy and Martha (Nelson) Beese. She married Ladislas E. Kurgan on Oct. 12, 1948, and to this union two children were born, James and Mary. Laddie died Jan. 8, 1994. Charlotte was a faithful member of St. Casimir Catholic Church in Wells.

Charlotte is survived by her children James Kurgan of Wells and Mary Kurgan (Wayne Klinkner) of Sartell; her brother, Robert (Connie) Beese, of Los Altos Hills, Calif.; sister-in-law, Jackie Beese, of Champlin; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; grandson, Nathan Tweet; and brothers Gerald (Murlie) Beese and Richard Beese.
