Caring people come together to make sure that families in the community have a cozy place to rest their heads each night. The Country Inn & Suites of Albert Lea is replacing all of its used, top end, flip-able mattresses and box spring and want to be sure that these are distributed to people in the community that truly need them.
Families in need of a king or queen mattress and box spring family must pre-register before distribution day.
It’s first come first serve and there are limited mattresses and box springs, and there is a great need. So register right away to reserve yours today. Pre-register at the Salvation Army on Court Street in Albert Lea between 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
The mattresses and box springs will be distributed to those registered from the south entrance of the Skyline Plaza parking lot Nov. 25.
The community is invited to get involved in “Happy heads on New Beds.” Free will donations from the public will be accepted and there will be a kettle for donations during distribution day at the Skyline Plaza parking lot.
Organizers of Happy Heads on New Beds include The Country Inn & Suites of Albert Lea, the Salvation Army, Skyline Plaza, Crossroad Trailers and Power 96 & KQAQ.
