A high-risk predatory offender from Albert Lea is slated to be released back into the community next week after a brief stint in prison.

Lorenzo Martin Torres is expected to move Wednesday to an apartment on the 100 block of South Broadway. He has been incarcerated in state prison since August on a violation of his release conditions, according to Albert Lea police.

A police notification fact sheet states Torres has a history of sexual contact with female victims ages 12 to 15. Contact included penetration, and he was known to his victims. In other words, police discourage people from befriending him.

Police previously stated Torres had at least three victims, but there were likely others who were never charged or who never came forward to authorities.

Torres is classified as a Level 3 offender, an offender with the highest likelihood of reoffending.

The fact sheet describes him as being 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 256 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair.

With the addition of Torres back into the community, there are six Level 3 offenders in Freeborn County. Five are in Albert Lea and one is in Gordsonville.

The offender in Gordonsville is Brooks Daniel Fisher. The other Albert Lea offenders are Tai Lars Stadheim, Jabar Pedro Morarend, Cody Padraic Trott and Joseph Harry Jensen.

Several of the men lived in Albert Lea prior to offending.
