Marvin Tuecke, 1928-2014

Marvin Tuecke, 86, died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2014, due to complications of Alzheimer’s. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Zion Lutheran Church in Des Moines, 4300 Beaver Ave. Visitation for Marvin will be at the church one hour prior to the funeral.

Marv was born Aug. 14, 1928, in Sheffield, Iowa. Marv was a U.S. Army veteran who served his country during the Korean War. He loved square and round dancing and traveling. More than anything, Marv loved to spend time with his family.

Marv is survived by his wife of 62 years, Eunice, and his son, David. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alfred and Hannah Tuecke, and by his loving daughter, Terri Tuecke.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
