Theft reported at post office

CONGER — A theft was reported at 9:59 a.m. Thursday at the post office in Conger, 94 S. Maple St.

 

Bathroom damaged

Damage was reported to the girls’ bathroom at the Hayward Group Home, 80880 Freeborn County Road 46. A group of boys was believed to have done the damage.

 

Man arrested for controlled substance

Albert Lea police cited Christopher Lloyd VanRyswyk, 34, for fifth-degree possession of a controlled substance at 8:32 a.m. Thursday at 1203 Plainview Lane.

 

Cash missing

Police received a report of $20 missing at 1:50 p.m. Thursday at Good Samaritan Society of Albert Lea, 75507 240th St.

 

Man cited for criminal damage

Police cited Wiley Robert Moseley III, 55, for misdemeanor criminal damage at 4:25 p.m. Thursday at 802 Troy Road.

 

Forged check reported

Albert Lea police received a report at 4:49 p.m. Thursday from the Eveleth Police Department that there had been a forged check totaling $931 at the Albert Lea Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

1 cited for shoplifting

Police cited Alba D. Flores, 30, for misdemeanor theft at 5:48 p.m. Thursday from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

 

House broken into

A house was reported broken into at 5:21 p.m. Thursday at 421 E. Fourth St.
