3 cited for DWI
Deputies cited David Patrick Wacek, 53, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated, open container violation and a stop sign violation at 12:19 a.m. Saturday near the intersection of Freeborn County roads 30 and 13.
Police cited Jacob Ryan Johnson, 24, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 1:19 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of Euclid Avenue and West Main Street.
Police cited Billi Joe Doyle, 44, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated and third-degree test refusal after receiving a report that a car hit a tree in the front yard at 12:22 a.m. Sunday at 1509 S. Broadway. Doyle was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea.
Hit-and-run crashes reported
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday in the parking lot of Holiday Lanes, 522 Prospect Ave.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday at 1419 Johnson St.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 10:36 a.m. Monday at 221 S. Pearl St.
A hit-and-run crash was reported at 2:56 p.m. Saturday at 2308 Hendrickson Road.
Man arrested for meth
Police arrested Shwe Thaung, 19, for fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and underage drinking near the intersection of Minnesota Avenue and Johnson Street.
2 arrested for assault
Police arrested Joshua Dean Stenseth, 37, for fourth-degree assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Carlton County warrant at 5:52 p.m. Saturday at 800 S. Fourth Ave.
Gregory Scott Severtson, 43, was arrested for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct after a reported fight at 10:24 p.m. Friday at 290 W. Main St., Glenville.
Items reported stolen
Cash and other items were reported stolen at 6:52 p.m. Tuesday from 104 S. Sixth Ave.

A juvenile was cited for shoplifting at 6:12 p.m. Saturday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
Juvenile cited for criminal damage
Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies cited a juvenile male for criminal damage to property at 6:07 p.m. Tuesday at the Hayward Group Home, 80880 Freeborn County Road 46.
Windows smashed out
A window was reported smashed out of a vehicle at 8:55 a.m. Sunday at 77820 E. Main St., Albert Lea.
Windows were reported busted out of a gold Chrysler van at 8:51 a.m. Saturday at 614 Cherry Ave. A wallet was taken.
Man arrested on warrant, other violation
Police arrested Cristobal Teodora Del Angel, 27, on a charge of possessing an electronic incapacitation device and a felony warrant at 6:50 p.m. Sunday at 928 W. Front St. Police also cited Andrianna Maria Quiroz for possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
