As part of downtown’s Holiday Bazaar, the Albert Lea Art Center will have Christmas on Clark Street from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday. There will be a large variety of items for sale through Art on Broadway, such as local artists’ jewelry, pottery, photos, paintings and prints, and art supplies. The event is free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The artwork is suitable for Christmas giving and in a wide range of price points, according to a press release.
Steve Tubbs has new mugs on display at the Art Center. They can be purchased for $25 each, and all proceeds go towards the capital campaign for the Freeborn National Bank building.
In addition, the Art Center’s current gallery exhibit will be open: Darcy Sime Nature Photography. Sime will be there from 6 to 8 p.m. to meet visitors and talk about her work.
