Brent Skarsten is the sales manager at Motor Inn, but he originally went to medical school. – Hannah Dillon/Albert Lea Tribune

Brent Skarsten, 48, is the sales manager at Motor Inn. Skarsten, who lives in Faribault, talked with the Tribune about some of his interests and his desire to be in the motoring industry.

 

Q: What interests you about automobiles?

A: The changing technology.

 

Q: What is your favorite car make and model?

A: The Lamborghini Diablo.

 

Q: What do you like most about your job?

A: Working with different people every day.

 

Q: Have you always wanted to work with automobiles?

A: No. My degree is in orthopedic fractures and trauma bracing.

 

Q: What is your favorite memory working with automobiles?

A: When I get to help a customer who has had some bumps in the road get a new vehicle.

 

Q: Where did you grow up?

A: Woodbury.

 

Q: What are your hobbies?

A: Golf, fishing, hunting and hockey.

 

Q: What is your favorite food?

A: Pizza.

 

Q: What is your favorite movie?

A: “Christmas Vacation.”

 

Q: What is one interesting fact about you?

A: I am an excellent downhill skier.
