2 arrested for DWI
Freeborn County sheriff’s deputies arrested Andrew Jay Kluender for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated at 8:28 p.m. Friday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Meyers Road.
Police arrested Adam Robert Burt, 28, at 10:43 p.m. Friday for second-degree DWI and driving after suspension after a traffic stop on the 600 block of Freeborn Avenue.
Pedestrian struck by car
A pedestrian was reportedly struck by a car at 7:21 p.m. Friday near the intersection of South First Avenue and West Main Street.
According to police, Helen Rose Allen, 67, was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. The extent of her injuries are unknown.
Police stated Allen was crossing Main Street on First Avenue with her grandson.
Andrew Schwarz, 42, was reportedly driving southbound on First Avenue when he turned to go westbound on Main Street and struck Allen.
Break-ins reported
An apartment was reported broken into at 11:33 a.m. Saturday at 230 S. Pearl St.
A break-in was reported at 5:06 p.m. Sunday at Semcac, 2202 Stevens St.
A burglary was reported at 5:25 p.m. Sunday at 25693 Minnesota Highway 13, Manchester.
Motorcycle stolen
A motorcycle was reported stolen at 10:07 a.m. Friday from 225 Main St., Emmons.
1 cited for underage drinking
Sheriff’s deputies cited Dillon Jon Madson, 20, for underage drinking at 10:59 p.m. Saturday at near the City Beach skate park, 300 Johnson St.
Rock thrown through window
A rock was reportedly thrown through a garage window at 6:51 a.m. Saturday at 109 McArthur Drive.
1 arrested for drug possession
Police arrested Sharde Dorothy Allen, 29, for felony drug possession at 12:58 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and Sorenson Road.
1 cited for theft
A juvenile was cited for misdemeanor theft at 8:46 p.m. Sunday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.
