Police bust underage drinking party

Albert Lea police cited several people for underage drinking at 12:35 a.m. Saturday at 712 Bridge Ave. Cited were the following:

• Delmer George Weiss Robbins, 20, of Albert Lea, for underage drinking and two Freeborn County warrants.

• Nyayiech David Ruei, 18, of Albert Lea, for obstructing the legal process, underage drinking and a Mower County warrant.

• Brittany Kay Mickelsen, 18, of Wells, for underage drinking.

• Samantha Lee Torres, 20, of Wells, for underage drinking.

• Travis Wayne Manley, 18, of Lake Mills for underage drinking.

• Jonathyn Michael DaVeiga, 20, of Lake Mills for underage drinking.

• Alex Cortez Jr., 20, of Albert lea, for prohibited possession of a firearm, social host violation and possession of drug paraphernalia and a small amount of marijuana.

• Four 17-year-olds for underage drinking.

• One 15-year-old for underage drinking.

 

Attempted break-in reported

An attempted break-in was reported at 12:56 p.m. Saturday at 1224 James Ave. Front and side doors were pushed in with trimming broken. Nothing was missing.

 

Hit-and-run reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 5:15 p.m. Friday at 1855 Lakewood Ave.

 

Items stolen

Three to four tool bags were reported stolen at 1:44 p.m. from Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave.

A trailer was reported stolen at 5:53 p.m. Friday at 1916 Bimelich Lane.

A jacket was reported stolen at 11:48 a.m. at 919 James Ave.

 

Garbage illegally dumped

Garbage was reportedly illegally dumped in a field drive at 5:10 p.m. Tuesday at 75270 270th St., Clarks Grove.

 

Stop arm violation reported

A school bus stop arm violation was reported at 4:05 p.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Pearl Street and Wedgemore Drive.

 

Woman arrested for violations

Albert Lea police arrested Emily Ann Torres, 18, for false imprisonment, obstructing the legal process and misdemeanor domestic assault at 5:17 p.m. Tuesday at 1440 Academy Ave.
