1 arrested for DWI

Police arrested Jesse Joseph Nappin, 35, for driving while intoxicated and a Ramsey County warrant after a traffic stop at 11:41 p.m. Wednesday near the intersection of Fountain Street and Summer Avenue.

 

Items reported stolen

A cellphone was reported stolen at 9:59 a.m. Wednesday from an apartment at 308 W. College St.

Rings valued at $1,375 were reported stolen at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday from 505 Freeborn Ave.

 

Vehicle damaged by fallen pole 

A vehicle was reportedly damaged by a fallen light pole south of the water tower at the intersection of East Fountain Street and North Newton Avenue at 1:14 p.m. Wednesday. The dent was about 12 inches.

 

Woman arrested for assault

Albert Lea police arrested Debra Kay Gaul, 57, for misdemeanor domestic assault at 7:42 p.m. Wednesday at 611 Albert Lea St.
