2 arrested for DWI

Freeborn County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested John William Magney, 54, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated at 3:25 a.m. Wednesday on 215th Street, one-fourth of a mile east of the Hayward exit.

Albert Lea police arrested Roland Hans Rolands, 35, for fourth-degree driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop at 12:11 a.m. Thursday near the intersection of U.S. Highway 65 and South Shore Drive.

Counterfeit bill reported

A counterfeit $100 bill was reported at 3:59 p.m. Feb. 14 at 1210 E. Main St.

 

2 arrested for drug possession

Albert Lea police arrested Dawn Denise Meyer, 39, for fifth-degree possession of methamphetamine and gross misdemeanor no possession of insurance after a traffic stop at 8:42 p.m. Feb. 14 near the intersection of First Avenue and West Front Street.

Police arrested Sean Dante Doss, 29, on a Department of Corrections warrant, felony fifth-degree drug possession and fleeing on foot after a traffic stop at 11:11 p.m. Feb. 16 near the intersection of East Second Street and James Avenue.

 

Items stolen

A cellphone was reported stolen at 2:31 p.m. Feb. 16 at 2410 Y.H. Hanson Ave. The value was estimated at $400.

Money was reported missing from Sears, 2722 Bridge Ave., at 9:23 a.m. Feb. 17, according to police.

A television and other items were reported stolen at 1:38 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, 1550 Blake Ave. The store had the theft on camera.

 

Hit-and-run crash reported

The driver of an extended cab orange pickup reportedly left without paying for $40 in gasoline at 3:28 p.m. Feb. 16 at 901 W. Main St.
