Duwayne Linwood Coke, 10, was taken away Dec. 20, 2014, along with his mother, Christina, and sister, Destiny. He lived in Garland, Maine, with his mother, sister and aunt Andra.
Duwayne was born July 26, 2004, to Steven David Lenz and the late Christina Ann Sargent in Ellsworth, Maine.
Duwayne enjoyed spending time with his dad and younger brothers going fishing, canoeing and goose hunting. He liked playing videogames with his older brothers. Spending time with his mom watching a movie or just chilling out was fun. He enjoyed helping out at Omni Automotive in Clarks Grove with John Tennison. Duwayne attended school in Albert Lea and Dexter, Maine.
He is survived by his father, Steven Lenz, and stepmother, Nicole Luna; brothers Dominic Sargent of Ellsworth, Maine, Patrick Sargent of Clarks Grove and Landon Lenz and Rylan Lenz, both from Albert Lea; grandparents Dwight and Lauralee Sargent of Clarks Grove, Connie Smith of Kensett, Warren Lenz of Albert Lea and Mary and George Wooster of Hancock, Maine; great-grandfather, Warren Lenz Sr., of Albert Lea; great-grandmother, Maves Zimmerman, of Albert Lea; nephew, Parker, of Clarks Grove; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by great-grandparents Wellington and Natalie Sargent, Barb Lenz, Nathan Zimmerman, Leslie Crossman and William and Marion Dawes.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church in Clarks Grove.
Until they meet again, his family loves him. RIP Duwayne.
