WINONA — Fire has destroyed a business in downtown Winona and left some renters without a home. 

Firefighters from several agencies battled the blaze at the Mason Jar Bar this morning. The bar and several apartments above it are described as a total loss.

Crews from Winona, Goodview and Pickwick were on the scene. The Red Cross is assisting those who lived in the apartments.
