Fuel stabilizer stolen

Two jugs of fuel stabilizer were reported stolen at 4:01 p.m. Jan. 31 from 2611 Bridge Ave.

 

Hit-and-run crashes reported

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 4:44 p.m. Jan. 31 in the MarketPlace Foods parking lot, 1619 W. Main St.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 6:08 p.m. Feb. 2 at 804 Frank Ave.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at 9:12 p.m. Feb. 3 at 1615 W. Main St.

 

Tire reported slashed

Albert Lea police received a report of a slashed tire at 1:51 a.m. Feb. 1 at 134 W. William St. Police arrested Broxton David Rush Lynch, 23, for misdemeanor criminal damage to property and felony possession.

 

Windows broken

A window was reported broken out at 3:39 a.m. Feb. 1 at 133 W. William St.

Windows were reported smashed out of a black Saturn parked at the Holiday Inn Express, 77820 E. Main St. at 8:39 a.m. Jan. 30. Several items were reported stolen.

 

Building struck by vehicle

The northeast corner of 601 W. College St. was reported hit by an aqua-colored vehicle sometime overnight Feb. 4. Damage was estimated at between $500 and $1,000.

 

Vehicles rummaged through

Three vehicles were reported rummaged through at noon Feb. 2 at 708 Freeborn Ave. The vehicles were unlocked, and nothing was missing.

 

Child hit by vehicle

A child was reportedly hit while crossing the street at the intersection of Frank Hall Drive and East Fourth Street at 3:26 p.m. Feb. 2. The child walked home and told a parent, and the parent took the child to the emergency room at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea to be checked out.

 

1 arrested for underage drinking

Police arrested Shwe Thaung, 20, for underage drinking and a local warrant at 4:41 a.m. Feb. 3 at 1210 E. Main St.

 

Truck stolen, later recovered

A truck was reported stolen at 12:14 p.m. Feb. 2 from 64337 160th St., Alden. It was later recovered in Mankato after a pursuit by police.

 

Woman assaulted

Albert Lea police received a report at 9:03 a.m. that a woman had been assaulted by another woman on Fountain Street at about 10 p.m. Feb. 2. The woman who was assaulted was reportedly in the emergency room at the time of the report.

 

1 cited for disorderly conduct

Police cited Michael Wayne Dammen, 65, for fifth-degree assault and disorderly conduct at 12:48 p.m. Feb. 3 at H&R Block, 2340 Hendrickson Road.

 

Burglary reported

An attempted burglary was reported at 4:31 p.m. Feb. 3 at 1413 Frank Ave.
