Garrin Bednar, 25, died at his home in Ham Lake Friday, Feb. 6, 2015. 

A memorial service will be planned on his birthday in July in Albert Lea.

Garrin Scott Bednar was born July 6, 1989, to Phyllis Hernandez and Scott Bednar.  He went to school in Albert Lea; Dover, Oklahoma; and Blaine.

He loved sports, music and drawing. He worked at various jobs but detailing cars was his favorite. Garrin had a contagious smile.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Patrick Hernandez, of Albert Lea; and grandmother, Kenya Jimenez, of Antonio, Texas.

Survivors include his children Anthony Joseph of Woodbury and Makenzie Elizabeth  of Owatonna; mother and stepfather Phyllis and Tony Droz of Keosauqua, Iowa; father, Scott Bednar, of Ham Lake; grandmother, Sharon Bednar, of Albert Lea; grandfather and step-grandmother  Marv and Dianna Bednar of Pewaukee, Wisconsin; brother, Shawn Miller (Alisha Boyer), of Albert Lea and nephews Lukas and Nathan; sister, Valarie Hernandez (Jason Campbell), of Ham Lake and nieces Chassidy and Jazlynn and nephews Quran and Aaiden; aunts and uncles Brian and Bruce Bednar of Thorp, Wisconsin, Stacy Thompson Bednar of Albert Lea, Jill Sundblad (Mike) of Winsted, Kelli Weaver (Tom) of Maple Grove, Patty (Scott) Stahl of Albert Lea, Delores Hernandez (Jerry Krow) of Albert Lea, Linda Hernandez of Albert Lea, Janie Hernandez (Ron Cox) of Austin, Corrina Hernandez of Austin and Adolf Hernandez of Albert Lea; many cousins  Roseann, Mark, Ronald, Justin, Rozanne, Charlene, Juan, Cody, Sarah, Chase, Sotera, Erik, Melissa, Alex, Jordan, Logan, Sonya, Jarred, Garnys, Courtney, Taylor, Dana, Katie, Kristie, Dillon, Logan and Bryanna; and many more great-nieces and nephews and relatives.
