Albert Lea native Alek Struck, a freshman at Minnesota State University, Moorhead, made the fall 2014 semester Dean’s List.

Tyler Brackey of Albert Lea was one of the 543 students who completed their undergraduate degree requirements at Bemidji State University and graduated at the conclusion of the 2014 spring semester. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in criminal justice. Located in north central Minnesota, Bemidji State University enrolls more than 5,000 students in over 50 programs on the undergraduate level.

Heather A. Greibrok and Mikaela J. Pierson, both of Albert Lea, have graduated from the University of St. Thomas following the conclusion of the spring 2014 semester. Greibrok received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education (K-6) and Spanish Linguistics. Pierson received a Bachelor of Science Degree in neuroscience with cum laude honors. St. Thomas, founded in 1885, is a Catholic, independent, liberal arts university. With a coeducational student body numbering more than 10,000, it is Minnesota’s largest independent college or university.

Winona State University has announced the dean’s list for spring term 2014. To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be an undergraduate enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours for a grade) and achieve a minimum grade point average of 3.5.
