I am a handicapped World War II veteran and a life-long member of VFW Post 447 in Albert Lea.

Last Saturday, I stopped at the Kwik Trip on Garfield to get a gallon of milk.

Collecting my change, I hung my cane on the counter of the No. 2 station and forgot it, leaving without it.

I went back Sunday morn and inquired, but to no avail.

Whoever took it, I hope they enjoy the ice pick on it.
