Over 90 pints collected at blood drive

Ninety-eight pints of blood were collected at the March 6 Red Cross Blood drive at Salem Lutheran Church. That translates into the potential for almost 300 lives saved, according to a press release. Thomas Wentzler earned a one-gallon pin, Coral Ringoen and Nicholas Pederson earned two gallons, Carol Raben earned three gallons, Chris Sorenson earned four gallons, Bill Danielsen earned 10 gallons, Brenda Blanshan earned 11 gallons and Doug Riskedahl earned 22 gallons. All are Albert Lea residents.
