Program will discuss end-of-life issues

The public is invited to attend an informative presentation on end-of-life issues and choices at 2 p.m. March 28 at Christ Episcopal Church, 204 Fountain St. in Albert Lea, according to a press release. The speaker will be Janet Conn, the president of the Minnesota chapter of Compassion & Choices, a national organization promoting improved comfort, choice, control and dignity at the end of life.
Conn will discuss health care directives, the work of Compassion & Choices and how physician-aid-in-dying works in Minnesota, as well as reporting on efforts to legalize it in Minnesota. The program is free of charge.
