Fried fish and bingo is a winning combination for St. Casimir’s School.

These two separate events were recently joined together as a fundraiser by the St. Casimir’s School Home and School Association in Wells.

Partaking in a meal of fish sandwiches, coleslaw, chips, pickles and cookies was a great way for the attendees to prepare before hunkering down with their bingo boards.  The event’s announcer, Eric Dulas, kept the evening moving with a series of fourteen bingo games that included the traditional straight win, cross, four corners and postage stamp for which the lucky winners each earned an average of $20.    In honor of the school’s centennial year, the final game of the night was black out with a winning take of $100!

St. Casimir’s School thanks all those who participated in this evening of fun and fellowship.  St. Casimir’s School would also like to thank Raimann Farms, State Farm, Mrs. Gerry’s, Captain’s Choice and Jake’s Pizza for their donations towards this event and to the Holy Family Knights of Columbus for their matching funds grant.

The next big event planned by the Home and School Association will be “Celebrate with the Saints” which includes a pork sandwich meal and live and silent auctions.  This celebratory evening will be held at the school at 5 p.m. Saturday.
