2015 Albert Lea Teacher of the Year

• Lange has been working with District 241 for 18 years

• He has a master’s degree in teaching English from Minnesota State University, Mankato

• In addition to being an English teacher, he has been English department head and concurrent faculty at Riverland Community College

• He enjoys woodworking, playing guitar, reading and home improvement.

• He has traveled to France, Spain, Portugal, England, Maine, Montana, San Diego and North Carolina.

• His wife, Christma, is a fourth-grade teacher at Hawthorne Elementary School.

• He has three children: Solveig, a senior; Jens, a junior; and Henrik, a fifth-grader at Sibley Elementary School.

• He is originally from Eden Prairie.
