Salvation Army receives donation

Jody Adams from the Maple Island Park Association presents a check to Kathy Belshan of the local Salvation Army for its food shelf. The local food shelf helps several families every day stretch their groceries by providing items such as vegatables, fruits, soups, crackers and other staples. March was Minnesota FoodShare’s month. Based on donations given last month, pantries could receive a partial grant match that would allow an increase in buying power with the Channel One Food Bank. - Provided
