Music students perform

Musicians from the private studio of Sharon Astrup-Scott performed at 12:15 p.m. June 17 at the rotunda at Mayo Clinic Health System in Albert Lea. Vocal and instrumental music from composers Debussy and Schubert, well-known American folk melodies, the African-American genre and contemporary composers Farjeon and Lou Reed skillfully resounded in and around the rotunda. The next performance will be 12:15 p.m. July 15 at the rotunda with a different group of Astrup-Scott’s students. — Provided
