Police: Driver was drunk when he hit pedal pub

MINNEAPOLIS — Police believe the driver who rear-ended a pedal pub in Minneapolis was drunk.
Authorities said 12 people were taken to a hospital after a car hit the pedal pub in downtown Minneapolis on Wednesday night. Four remained hospitalized Thursday and were in satisfactory condition.
Minneapolis police spokesman Scott Seroka said the pedal pub — a roving bar on wheels — tipped over in the crash and trapped some of the riders. Passersby helped free them.
