I largely grew up in Albert Lea before leaving for the military. I am shocked someone from the parade management did not stop this person from debasing the city and the state with his racism and unpatriotic display. The Confederate flag was that of traitors and slavers. To allow such a flag to fly is disrespectful to those who fought and died for freedom. The fireman wanted to protest the political correctness of the Confederate flag. Would he be as accommodating of political correctness if the Nazi flag was flown?
