Mr. Obama is being pressured by Minnesota Sens. Klobuchar and Franken, plus 12 other Democrat Senators, to resettle 65,000 Syrian refugees in the United States before the end of his term. Please give our senators an earful — soon.

Besides the fact that a background check can be done on virtually none of these people for terrorist ties or anything else, what is the rationale in trying to relocate Syrian refugees in Western countries with Judeo-Christian traditions? Why would a believer in Islamic ideology consent to resettlement in a Western nation other than for all the free goodies? Why not Saudi Arabia, Kuwait or even Indonesia or Kenya where they’d have a lot more in common with the natives, including some degree of enthusiasm for Shariah law?

Here’s an idea: Let’s resettle these Syrian refugees in their home countries. See the websites Refugee Resettlement Watch and the Center for Immigration Studies.
