Marilyn Chambers of Cottage Grove and Steve Hoy of Roseville along with Dwayne and Sharon Stiernagle of Freeborn announce the engagement of their children Elizabeth Janet Hoy and Matthew Dwayne Stiernagle.

The bride is a 2009 graduate of Park High School in Cottage Grove and a 2013 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings with a degree in human development and family studies. She is in the process of getting her master’s degree in clinical/mental health counseling from Winona State University. She is employed at St. Croix Hospice in Rochester.

The groom is a 2009 graduate of United South Central High School in Wells and a 2014 graduate of South Dakota State University in Brookings with a degree in civil engineering.

He is employed as a field engineer for Wells Concrete in Wells.

An Aug. 29, 2015, wedding is being planned in Rochester.
